One of the more interesting discussions in the book is the charitable donations of his tournament winnings. Barry starts by telling his life story, and for anyone that thinks he worked at Symantec and then started his poker career afterwards, they are very wrong. Primarily a book about the mindset you should have when playing and thinking about poker, rather than a book about specific poker strategy.

Some attention is paid to both cash game and tournament strategies and some useful but not unique charts are provided for reference. It’s an interesting background on one of the games rived notable players. Gotta toss it in here; Barry got the nickname “Robinhood of Poker” for good reason and he seems like a great guy who truly does give back to those in need, so for thee reason, I’ll give it 2 stars instead of one.

After graduating from Bogan High School he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science acce the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. BEING good is far harder. The pros use jargon and experience-based oh so much that you will have to read this sort of book over again from time to time if you want to understand much of it. Tbe Structure ————- Clean but a bit random.
Barry Greenstein born December 30, in Chicago, Illinois is an American professional poker player. Craig Klinski January 3, He points out that it can be a lucrative industry, but it requires a LOT of self-discipline.
Still it’s well-written and a good read if poker is your game. This is an introductory book into real life experiences of being a professional player.
